• When you contact us or offer to help: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message.
• When you sign up for updates: your name and email address, and your consent.
• When you donate: our payment providers collect your payment details on their own secure pages. We receive your name, email address, the amount and the date, never your card details.
• When you visit: anonymous visit statistics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Who helps us

We use a small number of trusted services to run this website:

• Cloudflare hosts the website and provides cookie-free visitor statistics.
• Web3Forms delivers messages from our website forms to our inbox. Form submissions may be kept by Web3Forms for up to 30 days.
• Stripe processes donations in pounds.
• Paystack processes donations in naira.

How we use it

We use your information only to reply to you, to process and acknowledge your gift, and, if you have asked us to, to send you updates. We never sell or share your information for marketing.

How long we keep it

In accordance with Stripe and Paystack policies for retention.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent to updates at any time. Email info@merry-goldwater.org. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
